Sydney

December 29, 2012

Short and sweet, my second time in Sydney in two months and I am growing to appreciate it more each time. I like the environs of Newtown and Enmore, they people and place there suit me. A bit of culture shock for me yesterday when we spent the afternoon at Coogee Beach. I am not an Australian beach culture person. Also, where do the ugly and older people swim, because it did not appear to be at Coogee ;-) Bought a fantastic outfit in South Newtown yesterday. I love the fact that a city this size allows for differences in style, attitude and being. We watched Priscilla again last night which always reminds me of the concept of the haven of the city for those of us who don't "quite fit in".

Two "In My Chairs" recorded yesterday at the Silverbean cafe. I am hoping like hell the sound from the cafe wasn't just a bit too loud. The lovely Deb Slater was in the chair and then she turned the tables on me.
